Restore Compression and Extend Engine Life

As your nitro engine accumulates more runtime, you may notice a decline in performance due to wear. Our Sleeve Resize Service is designed to rejuvenate your engine by precisely resizing the sleeve, restoring compression, and improving the overall seal. This service brings a worn engine back to life, enhancing performance, providing better idling, and making tuning easier.

While sleeve resizing can extend your engine’s life, it typically lasts for 1 to 2 gallons of fuel before another resize may be needed. It’s a great option for getting the most out of your current engine until you’re ready for a new one.

We only resize engines that are  .21-.28 at this time.

What to Expect:

• Cost: $25 per sleeve resize.

• Easier Tuning: Enhanced idling and smoother tuning with renewed engine seals.

• Longevity: Extends the engine's life, with typical performance lasting up to 2 gallons.

Break-In After Resize: After resizing, a full break-in isn’t necessary, but it’s important to preheat the engine and run it conservatively with a rich high-speed needle setting for the first 3 to 4 tanks. After that, you can gradually return to your full race tune.

Service Details:

• We currently offer resizing for sleeves in engines between .21 and .28 displacement.

• Please send the sleeve, piston, and conrod. If you’re not comfortable removing these parts, you can send the entire engine, and we’ll handle the disassembly. Only the motor is needed—no carb, flywheel, or exhaust.
