This is a single speed replacement for the stock transmission. It bolts to the stock location with supplied adapter or the adapter can be removed for custom installations. we recommend using a 9 tooth pinion so we include it with the transmission. Enclosed all aluminum construction built tough, capable of towing, 6×6 or 8×8 builds.
Recommended Motors for the FRD6
1- 3Brothers Blackjacket 1280kv 4-6s
2- Hobbywing EXRUN Axe R3 1700kv 3-6s
3- Hobbywing Quicrun Fusion 8ight 2300kv needs to be programmed to work well 2-4s
4- Stock motor is not recommended but will work with a couple modifications
